Anti-Bullying Ambassadors
Students in Year 10 and 11 who have demonstrated the ability to support other students in difficult times have had the opportunity to be Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. The Behaviour Support Manager trains and supervises students to become Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, who will then be available to support and discuss any bullying issues with students and report cases of bullying to staff. The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors meet up throughout the year to discuss further ideas to prevent bullying around the school.
The ambassadors are also involved in organising and supporting an anti-bullying enrichment day which is held at the school every year. This year we organised a variety of activities including drama scenes, cooking ‘no to bullying’ cakes, poems, and designing a personal piece of hand art to make our ‘Make a Noise About Bullying’ banner.
