Curriculum - Music
Music is a universal language that embodies one of the highest forms of creativity. The aim of students’ music education at HVH is to engage and inspire students to develop a love of music, develop their talents as musicians, and so increase their self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement.
Throughout years 7 and 8, students will have a practical experience of music through a weekly 50 minute lesson with a music specialist. They will have the opportunity to play a variety of instruments; listen to and appreciate a wide range of music; perform in a solo and group settings and compose regularly. Students will use music technology when appropriate to enhance their learning.
